A Message from Rev. Robert O Gramling
On behalf of Henrietta Cosby, Founder and President Emeritus

Rev. Robert O. Gramling It is with heartfelt feelings of gratitude and thanksgiving that we greet and thank everyone who has in anyway helped VISCOP over these past thirty plus years. It has been an amazing journey. This work has been more than a job. It has been a labor of love. What a great privilege it has been to serve God by helping others. Jesus said, "And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thy self." Matthew 22:39. This love has been expressed in the activities listed in our brochure/history. Beyond these activities we shared a rich and abiding fellowship. Because of the fellowship experience many participants were restored to a frame of mind and well being that bonded them one to another.

As we celebrate this anniversary we truly celebrate it as those who have regained their sense of value and well being because of our interdependence as co-partners. Please consider joining us and experiencing the mutual benefits uniquely offered by VISCOP.

You can reach us at 609.239.5366 and we meet at the Church of the Nazarene in Pitman, New Jersey.

About VISCOP

VISCOP (Visually Impaired and Sighted COPartners) has been in operation for over 30 years. It was founded by Henrietta Cosby and her husband, Richard in 1978. Since its beginning the organization has been serving the blind and visually impaired with activities that include: crafts, teaching Braille, singing, field trips and support groups.

The organization has a distinctly Christian spiritual flavor and basis, which is part of its very fiber. While such an orientation may indeed limit the scope of appeal, the spirit of service, love and community make VISCOP what it is.
